Fruit Popsicles

Fruit Popsicles

Yayyyyy!!!! It’s fruity Pops time.
Please excuse me for behaving like a kid, but this sweltering heat is killing me and the mere sight of something cool is like a mirage. What more can you want if I say that it’s super healthy and packed with the goodness of fruits!!!

This is a very very simple recipe. Just blitz the fruits of your choice with the help of a blender, pour into moulds and freeze.
Tadaaa!!! Your super cool dessert, popsicles will be ready in a few hours. What I love about these popsicles is that they use whole fruits only, no sugar, no additives, no preservatives.
Head to your comfy recliner or chair, grab a book or watch tv along with these fruity popsicles and have a super cool day.

You can make single fruit pops also or you can make layered pops the way I have made them.
You can use your imagination with creating your own fun designs. Involving your kids in making these fruity pops will be a wonderful idea. This way they will not only make their own favorite flavors but also have a fun filled afternoon.

Raspberries- 10-11

DIRECTIONS:

Halve the mangoes, remove the stone and scoop out the flesh. Put the scooped flesh into a blender or food processor. Blitz to a smooth purée. Take it out in a bowl.
Hull the Strawberries. Rinse the blender and put strawberries and raspberries in it. Blitz them to a smooth purée. Take it out in a bowl.
Rinse the blender again. Add in blueberries and blitz to make a smooth purée. Take it out in a bowl.
Halve the kiwis and scoop out the flesh. Rinse the blender and add in the scooped out flesh of kiwis. Blitz to a smooth purée.
Take it out in a bowl.

Layer the fruit according to your choice. After making layer of one fruit purée place the popsicles mould in the freezer for about an hour.
After that take it out and tip in your next purée. Keep it again in freezer.
In the same way you can prepare all your fruit lollies.
If you want to have a single fruit lolly, just tip in the fruit purée in the mould and keep it in the freezer to set.
Freeze for about 5-6 hours.
(If you do not have popsicles moulds, use a steel or plastic container to freeze the fruit purées).

How to demould the Popsicles from the moulds- Place the mould in glass of hot water for about 10 seconds.
Take out the chilled and tempting popsicles from the mould and serve.
Enjoy the cool treat!!
